In addition to her five-year tenure at Krouse Travel, Amy has dedicated 30 years to full-time service as a special education teacher. Her journey to becoming a travel agent started when she and her husband took their two kids to Disney World. She had taken a trip there when she was a child, but she truly fell in love with it as an adult. When people she worked with started asking her to help plan their trips to Disney, her husband suggested that she start doing it as a career. Because of her passion for all things Disney, Amy loves to help other travelers plan their trips to “The Happiest Place On Earth”.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Disney World of course!

Vacation Must-Do: On every Disney vacation, Amy always buys a new Disney mug! Then she always ends the trip at Magic Kingdom watching the fireworks.

Best Travel Advice: When planning a trip to Disney, find somebody who regularly goes and is familiar with the park, because Disney changes things constantly! You also need to be organized or otherwise you’ll get frustrated.

Bucket List Trip: Alaska and Hawaii, for the scenery.

Fun Fact: Amy has a dog named Tink (after Tinkerbell) and a cat named Nala (from the Lion King). When she was younger, she wanted to be a music therapist, so she took professional singing lessons and learned how to sing in Italian.

Hobbies: When she isn’t busy teaching, planning trips, or taking care of her kids, Amy likes to garden.
