The highlight of our tour today is the fabulous home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright: Fallingwater. Our day will begin with one of the world’s most famous houses…a weekend retreat called Fallingwater. Fallingwater was the weekend home of the Kaufmann family from 1937 until 1963, when the house, its contents, and grounds were presented to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy by Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. Fallingwater is the only remaining great Wright house with its setting, original furnishings, and art work intact. The resort is tucked away in the southern mountain region of Pennsylvania and is known for its picturesque landscape. After Fallingwater, we will make our way to The Flight 93 Memorial Plaza and remember the heroes of this day. A Boxed Lunch will be served on the drive from Fallingwater to the Flight 93 Memorial.
